Sanitize

Possible Solutions

Is the water temperature at least 120°F (49°C)?

If the Sanitize option is selected, the dishwasher will heat the final rinse water from 145°F (62.7°C) to 155°F (68.3°C) and hold the temperature there for 10 minutes to successfully sanitize the dishes. If the dishwasher detects that the temperature requirements were not met, or the cycle was interrupted, the Sanitize LED will blink. If this occurs, it is due to insufficient water temperature.

Check the water temperature by running hot water in the sink for about 30 seconds. The water temperature should be at a minimum temperature of 120°F (49°C).

Cycle power to the control to reset the dishwasher:

Much like a computer, resetting the dishwasher control can sometimes solve the issues you are experiencing. To reset the dishwasher control panel, it needs to be disconnected from the power source for one minute. If your dishwasher is plugged into an outlet, simply unplug the unit for one minute and then plug the unit back in. If the dishwasher is hard wired to the power supply, turn the breaker off at the home electrical panel that powers the dishwasher for one minute and then turn the breaker back on.
