Sabbath Mode


What it does:

Enables the appliance to operate without any input to comply with religious guidelines.

The Sabbath Mode sets the oven to remain on in a bake setting until disabled.

When the Sabbath Mode is activated, only the Bake cycle will operate. All other cooking and cleaning cycles are disabled. No tones will sound, and the displays will not indicate temperature changes. When the oven door is opened or closed, the oven light will not turn on or off, and the heating elements will not turn on or off immediately.

What it does for you:

Automatically sets up the appliance for observance of the Sabbath.

  • If Sabbath Mode is currently running but not scheduled, the user can currently run a Sabbath Bake but can not schedule a Sabbath Bake.

  • If Sabbath Mode is currently running and scheduled, the user can currently run a Sabbath Bake as well as set a scheduled Sabbath Bake within the Scheduled Sabbath Mode parameters.
