Display Not Scrolling - Over-the-Range Microwave

Possible Solutions

Touch screen Display Not Responding on KitchenAid Connected Appliances

If the display or screen is frozen, not responding, not scrolling or the status is not updating check the following or perform the following troubleshooting.

Is the Control Lock on?

The Control Lock feature disables the control panel/display to avoid unintended use and for easier cleaning. If the display is not responding, and the controls are locked a message should display with the instructions on how to unlock the controls.

Cycle Power

Sometimes the appliance just needs to be rebooted or restarted.

  1. Power the appliance down by turning off the circuit breaker(s) or unplugging for one (1) minute.
  2. Power the appliance up by turning on the circuit breaker(s) or plugging back in.
  3. Verify the operation of the control panel/display.

Restart the Mobile App

If the information on your KitchenAid mobile app is not displaying the current cycle or timer information, you may need to refresh the mobile app.
