Door Locked - Commercial Range

Possible Solutions

Is the Oven in a Self-Clean cycle?

The oven will automatically lock when a self-clean cycle is started.  Once the cycle has completed and the oven has cooled down, the oven will unlock. The oven will need to cool to approximately 500F before the oven door will open.  If the cycle was mistakenly started: Turn the "Temperature" knob to the "Off" position.

Is the oven door locked?

  1. Turn both the "Temperature" and the "Mode" knobs to the "Clean" position within 30 seconds and press "Start" when it starts to flash
  2. Once the cycle has started, wait approximately 1 minute, then cancel the cycle by turning the "Temperature" knob to the "Off" position.
  3. Check to see if the door will open.  If the door is still locked, try cycling power to the appliance.

Is the door properly installed?

Once the door is unlocked, checked to ensure the door is aligned properly.
