Oven Fan Not Turning Off - Commerical Oven

Possible Solution

Can you hear the fan running?

This is part of normal operation and keeps the electronic controls cool during oven cycles.

Depending on the temperature inside the cavity after a cooking cycle ends, the cooling fan may continue to run for some time in order to cool the appliance. This is normal. The door may be opened at any time to add or remove food, and/or to start another cooking cycle.

  • The cooling fan allows for proper cooling of the appliance.
  • The cooling fan will continue to run after the cooking cycle has been completed until the oven cavity is below 212 F.  NOTE: The time the fan runs will vary depending on the temperature and duration of the cooking cycle i.e The higher the temperature and the longer the cycle the longer the fan will run to cool down the cavity.
