Beeping or Audio Tones - Electric Range

Possible Solutions

Is the Control Lock feature on? (Varies by model)

When the Control Lock feature is enabled, the cooktop may make beeping or audio sounds. The control lock is intended to "lock" the control from unintended use. This is perfect for households with children who like to touch buttons so the oven cannot be turned on accidentally or turned off when running.

Press and hold Control Lock for 3 seconds. A tone will sound, and a lock will be displayed. 4. Repeat to unlock. No keypads will function with the controls locked.

Has a utensil been left on a burner? (Varies by model)

The range may make a beeping or audio sound if something has been left on the burner for an extended time.

Refer to the Owner's Manual for more information on beeping or audio tones.
