Burner Cap (Spreader) Installation
Possible Solutions
Verify that the burner cap (spreader) is installed correctly
If the spreader is not installed correctly, the flame will not even emit heat. It could have specific hot spots where the flame is prominent in one area. The igniter is on the oval burner's left side. The spreader has a small opening that must face the left side. That small opening sits very close to the igniter.
