White Blinking Lights- Commercial Range
Possible Solution
The start button is blinking while other controls are steady?
If the controls are solid white, the start button is blinking and the oven not starting, this usually means the "Start" button was pressed too soon (before it was flashing).
To Correct
- Rotate the "Mode" knob to a new position.
- Rotate the "Temp" knob back to the "Off" position.
- Select the desired mode and temp then wait for the "Start" button to flash prior to pressing.
If your commercial-style range is connected and registered in the Branded mobile app, you can use it to determine why the range is blinking. If you would like to connect your appliance, see the "Connected Appliance" section of this troubleshooter for additional information.
Did you change the temperature of the oven?
If the temperature was raised during an oven cycle the oven will blink white the new temperature is reached. This is part of a normal operation.
Is the range in Sabbath mode?
To determine if Sabbath mode has been activated, try opening and closing the oven door. If the light doesn't turn on, the range might be in Sabbath mode. Other signs that Sabbath mode is activated include the start button being illuminated and in a solid state, and being unable to select a non-bake cycle. Sabbath Mode must be turned off or disabled to return the oven to normal operation.
To Exit Sabbath Mode:
- Start the cycle, let the cycle run for about 1 minute. Cancel the cycle.
- Turn the Temperature knob to the "Off" position
- Press the "Start" button 7 times within 10 seconds
