Using the Pulse Function

How to Use the Pulse Function

The Blender offers a Pulse function. When turning the Precision Control Knob to Pulse, it allows you to manually control short bursts of high-speed blending.

  1. Place ingredients or ice cubes into the Blender Jar. Firmly secure the Lid with Lid Center Cap on the Blender Jar.
  2. Turn and hold the Precision Control Knob from (•) to Pulse function. Use the Pulse function for ice crushing. This provides maximum blending power. Control the blending duration by holding the Precision Control Knob in the Pulse position. Release the Precision Control Knob to (•) to stop the Blender. Refer to the "Blender Function Guide" section for additional information.

Additional Information

  • For variable speeds (from 1 to 10), the Blender will stop automatically after 3 minutes of run time. For preset recipe programs, the Blender will automatically stop blending once the cycle is complete.
  • The Precision Control Knob should be turned to the (•) position when using the preset function. During preset function operation, turning the Precision Control Knob allows you to switch from preset function to manual control.
