Bottom of Carafe is Orange - Automatic Coffee Maker

Is the bottom of the carafe glowing orange?
The glass bottom of the coffee carafe (models KCM1208 and KCM1209) is slightly curved and under certain lighting conditions, and on certain colored countertops, the carafe bottom can appear to glow bright orange.
This is a reflection of the light coming through the coffee, and it does not affect the performance of the coffee maker.
