Using gold-tone filters?
KitchenAid coffee makers come with a gold-tone filter. Some people prefer using gold-tone filters verse paper filters. It is important to use only one filter - either one paper or the gold-tone filter while brewing. If you use two filters it can cause the brew basket to overflow.
