Coffee Spills when Removing Portafilter

Is the portafilter installed correctly? 

To install the portafilter:

1. Remove the Grounds catcher tray and then remove the Portafilter holder from its storage location.
2. Insert the Portafilter holder into the Portafilter holder guide. Replace the Grounds catcher tray.
   1. Standard Portafilter (54 mm): insert it along with the top guides of the Portafilter holder. 
   2. Commercial Portafilter (58 mm):  insert it into the middle guides of the Portafilter holder.

Settle the grounds

Before removing the portafilter gently tap or shake it to settle the grounds before removing.​
