Cleaning the Coffee Carafe or Pot
How to Clean the KitchenAid Coffee Carafe or Pot
Since the coffee oils that build up on the brew basket and carafe can go stale and impair the flavor of the brewed coffee, these two items must be cleaned daily to make the best-tasting coffee. See below for recommendations on cleaning your Coffee Carafe or Coffee Pot.
NOTE: Before cleaning, always disconnect the Coffee Maker from the electrical outlet. Make sure the Coffee Maker has cooled completely.
