Possible Solution
Does water need to be added?
Before starting a cooking cycle, fill the water tank to the MAX (maximum) line.
Is the tank installed correctly?
If the water tank is not seated correctly, water can't be detected. Remove the water tank and reinsert it, ensuring there is proper contact.
Is a Clean cycle needed?
Routine cleaning (every 2-4 months) of the Grain and Rice cooker is needed to keep the appliance running properly. The DESCALE cycle utilizes water and vinegar to flush out any mineral deposits in the internal plumbing. To start a descale cycle, select "Clean" from the modes menu and follow the directions on the screen. Fill the Water Tank with vinegar to the Half line and water to the Max (maximum) line.
