Lid Doesn't Close - Grain and Rice Cooker

Possible Solution

If the lid on the Grain and Rice Cooker is not closing, check the following:

  • There is something between the ceramic pot and the heating plate.  Remove the Ceramic Pot, and check that the Heating Plate and under the Ceramic Pot are clean. Also, check that the Heat Sensor can move freely (it is springloaded). Ensure all packaging material has been removed.
  • Was the inner lid installed correctly? Remove and insert the inner lid into the correct position. The inner lid must be installed to use and for the lid to close.
  • Is the lid installed correctly? Ensure all parts of the lid are in the correct position.
  • Is the ceramic pot damaged? If the pot was dropped or hit on something, it will need to be replaced.
