Disc Stuck in Work Bowl Cover - Food Processor

Possible Solutions

Was the bowl very full?

When the bowl is overfilled, the items being sliced/shredded will begin to push the slicing/shredding disc into the Work Bowl cover as it rotates. The friction between the two pieces can melt the lid around the slicing or shredding disc and the disc can become lodged.

If you are able to separate it, allow plenty of room for food movement when processing - do not overfill.

Is there food stuck?

Check to see if a piece of food has become wedged between the Work Bowl Cover and the disc. Try to separate the disc from the work bowl cover, and remove any wedged food the might be wedged.
