Beater is Difficult to Eject - Hand Mixer
Possible Solutions
Is the mixer new?
New hand mixer beaters are sometimes tricky to remove, but it should become easier with use. Do not pull the beaters forcibly out of the mixer, as this can damage the retaining gear.
Is the button fully depressed?
Ensure you are pressing the button all the way in. If you are unable to eject the hand mixer beater by pressing the button on the top of the hand mixer, it may help to turn the hand mixer upside down and press the button against the countertop.
Additional Suggestions
- Dab some mineral oil onto a paper towel and apply it at the end of the beaters.
- Insert the beaters and eject them a few times.
