How to Lock the Swivel Cord of KitchenAid Hand Mixer
Cord Lock
Some KitchenAid ® hand mixer models come with a locking swivel cord, which is very handy. Left-handed consumers appreciate this feature.
The cord does not lock in the middle position. The cord lock is always black, regardless of the mixer color.
Lock the swivel cord
- Turn the mixer over
- Grasp the cord firmly
- Lift and push the cord to the left or way to the right.
- You will hear a slight "snap" as it clicks into place over the small raised plastic dot.
