Wood Gadgets Use and Care

Wooden tools and gadgets are durable, yet gentle on pots, pans, and other cookware, making them perfect for everyday cooking. Ensure your tools last by properly using, cleaning, and storing them.

Before First Use

Before using, wash tools with warm water and mild detergent, then dry them immediately and thoroughly.

Using Wood Products

It is important to be cautious while cooking at high temperatures to avoid damaging wooden utensils.

  • Do not leave wooden utensils in a hot pan.
  • Keep wooden utensils away from stovetop flame or element.

Wood Tools Care and Cleaning

KitchenAid wooden tools are not dishwasher safe, but they can be easily cleaned using warm water and mild detergent. Do not use steel wool, copper sponges, or coarse-bristle cleaning brushes, as these may scratch the wood. Always rinse and dry thoroughly after washing.

Storing Wood Tools

KitchenAid utensils should be stored in a clean, well-ventilated location, like a counter crock. Our tools are also designed to stack for easy storage in a drawer.
