Wont' Turn On - Hand Blender

Possible Solutions

Is it plugged into a grounded 3 prong outlet?

Ensure the hand blender is plugged into a grounded 3 prong outlet. See “Electrical Requirements" in the Owner's Manual for additional information.  Check the outlet. If you are unaware if it's working, plug in a household lamp or other small appliance to verify that the outlet is working.

Is the fuse in the circuit in working order?

If you have a circuit breaker box, make sure the circuit is closed. Try unplugging the hand blender, then plug it back in.

Did the hand blender suddenly turn off?

The Hand Blender is equipped with thermal protection from high operating temperatures. Should the Hand Blender suddenly stop during use, unplug it and allow 10 minutes to automatically reset.

Is the blender jammed or overloaded?

If the Hand Blender stops while blending it could be jammed or overloaded. When overloaded or jammed, it will automatically shut off to prevent motor damage. Divide contents into smaller batches. For certain recipes, adding liquid to the Jar may also reduce the load.
