Possible Solutions
Is there water in the chopper lid?
It is possible for water to enter the chopper lid. The water will eventually evaporate on its own.
Is the chopper lid stuck?
If the chopper lid cannot be removed, try to rotate it slightly in either direction. When attaching the cover, it can be turned somewhat to either the right or the left to make it fit tightly. To remove it, rotate in the opposite direction.
