Cleaning the Smart Thermometer
Cleaning the KitchenAid Smart Thermometer
The KitchenAid® Smart Thermometer’s waterproof design makes cleaning easy—simply toss it in the dishwasher or soak it for up to 6 hours.
- Dishwasher: The Thermometer Probe is dishwasher safe. The Dock should not be submerged in liquid or put in the dishwasher.
- Soaking: For stuck-on food, the Thermometer Probe can be soaked in a mild detergent and water for up to 6 hours.
Do not use cleaning products containing alcohol, ammonium, benzene, or abrasives on the Smart Thermometer, as these could damage the device.
Cleaning the Dock
- Use a soft, damp, soapy cloth and wipe clean.
- Dry with another soft cloth immediately.
- Do not submerge or soak your Dock in liquid.
