Using the Smart Thermometer
Using the KitchenAid Smart Thermometer
Start Monitoring
- Remove the Probe from the docking station
- Open the KitchenAid app and select the Smart Thermometer
- Select the type of protein category that is being cooked
- Pick the subcategory and cut of the meat
- Choose the desired doneness or temperature
- Select the cooking method (oven, pan, grill, etc.)
- Insert the thermometer into the meat (follow the onscreen information for suggestions on where to place the probe)
- Select "Start Cooking"
Cancel Monitoring
- Open the KitchenAid app
- Select the Smart Thermometer
- Click on "Stop Monitoring"
Turning the Thermometer Off or On
- To turn the Smart Thermometer on, remove the Thermometer Probe from the dock. The light will turn on.
- To turn the Smart Thermometer off, place the Thermometer Probe into the dock. It will click in, and the lights will turn off.
