Error Codes for KSC700 KitchenAid® Slow Cooker

KitchenAid has several slow cooker models with digital displays that show time and cooking mode.

Error Codes

The display will alternate between "Err" and "1."  The display will alternate between "Err" and "2." The display will alternate between "Err" and "3." 
  • Food temperature alert.
  • The control knob is not in the "Off" position when the cooker is plugged in. To correct, turn the cooker to "Off," then turn the knob to the desired setting. 
  • Temperature sensor failure (unit is rendered permanently inoperable, contact KitchenAid). 
  • Stuck push-button/button failure (unit is rendered permanently inoperable, contact KitchenAid). 
All Error Codes: Dispose of food; it might not be thoroughly cooked. 
If lights on the display are flashing: microprocessor failure (unit is rendered permanently inoperable, contact KitchenAid). Dispose of food; it might not be thoroughly cooked.
