Cleaning the 3-in-1 Pasta Attachment

IMPORTANT: Allow the appliance to cool completely before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning. Do not use metal objects to clean out the Pasta Attachment. Do not run a dish towel or any other cloth through the Pasta Attachment to clean it. Do not wash in the dishwasher, or immerse in water or other liquids. The 3-in-1 Pasta Attachment should be hand-washed only.

Turn the Stand Mixer off.
Remove the Pasta Attachment from the Stand Mixer. Refer to "Detaching the Attachment" for detailed information.
Remove the cover on the pasta attachment. Allow the attachment to air dry for about one hour before thoroughly cleaning. This will aid in the cleaning process.

Using the included cleaning brush, remove any dried dough and flour. If the dried dough is difficult to remove, try tapping the attachment with your hand. Use the pick side of the cleaning brush to clean the cutter rollers.
After cleaning the attachment, polish the exterior using a soft, dry cloth. Store in a dry place at room temperature.

Routine Maintenance

For optimal maintenance (annually or after 50 uses), lightly lubricate the gears with mineral oil.

Detach the stand mixer attachment, place it on a flat surface, and remove the top cover.
Apply a single drop of mineral oil to each point where the roller/cutter connects with the housing (as illustrated below).
