Tips for using Glass Bowl for KitchenAid Bowl-Lift Models
Bowl-Lift Glass Bowl Tips
The Glass Bowl is designed exclusively for use with the KV25, KP26, KSM652, and KSM758 KitchenAid® bowl-lift Stand Mixers.
Tips for use
- This is not recommended for microwave oven use.
- To avoid product damage, do not use the Glass Bowl in areas of high heat, such as an oven or on a stovetop.
Care and cleaning
The Glass Bowl may be washed in an automatic dishwasher or cleaned thoroughly in hot sudsy water and rinsed completely before drying
Before Using
- Your Stand Mixer is individually adjusted at the factory for optimal performance.
- When using the Glass Bowl, it may be necessary to re-adjust the beater-to-bowl clearance.
- When correctly positioned, the handle and the pour spout should not touch the pedestal of the Stand Mixer.
- Please refer to the Stand Mixer "Instructions" for complete information on adjusting the beater-to-bowl clearance.
NOTE: The "Dime Test" works for stainless bowls only, not glass or ceramic. Due to the nature of glass manufacturing, the clearance will be slightly different, and adjustments should be made without the dime until satisfied with the mixing performance. It may take somewhat longer for yeast dough ingredients to come together in a glass bowl.
