Humming - Dishwasher
Humming Noise
It is normal to hear a humming noise during the operation of the dishwasher. This noise is heard when the dishwasher drain pump is running.
On some models it is also normal to hear a humming noise after the cycle is complete. Some models are equipped with a fan, which will run for approximately 50 minutes after the "Clean" light has come on. This gives additional air movement to dry dishes, and remove heat.
