Perform an Ice Cube Test
To determine if the ice maker is making the correct amount of ice a cube count test can be performed.
Cube Count Test
- Completely empty the ice bin
- Wait 24 hours (do not use and/or dispense any ice during this time)
- Remove the ice bin and count the ice cubes
This type of ice maker should produce 56 - 72 cubes, during normal operating conditions. If the cube count test results within the normal range the ice maker is working correctly.
