Low Ice Production - Bottom Freezer
Possible Solutions
Perform an Ice Cube Test
A cube count test can be performed to determine if the ice maker is making the correct amount of ice.
Cube Count Test
- Empty the ice bin
- Wait 24 hours (do not use and/or dispense any ice during this time)
- Remove the ice bin and count the ice cubes
This type of ice maker should produce 56 - 72 cubes, during normal operating conditions. If the cube count test results are within the normal range, the ice maker works correctly.
New Installation?
Wait 24 hours after ice maker installation for ice production to begin. Wait three days for full ice production.
