Do the Sensors need to be cleaned?

Keep the sensors and tray clean and dry at all times to ensure the automatic fill function works correctly. Wipe them gently with a soft, dry cloth as needed. Don't spray water or cleaning liquids on the sensors, and avoid abrasive cleaners or pads, as they can scratch the lenses and damage the dispenser.

What size cup is being used?

The dispenser area fits any container up to 14" (35.6 cm) tall. Recommended hands-free automatic dispensing with containers from 2" (5 cm) to 11" (28 cm) tall and 1.5" (3.8 cm) to 7" (17.8 cm) wide. For containers taller than 6" (15.2 cm), the taller the vessel, the narrower is the optimal diameter.

Calibrate the dispenser

This mode allows you to calibrate the water dispensing system for accurate volume measurements. Flush the water system before calibrating. For best results, calibration should be performed when water is not being used in the house.

1. Press and hold the Light button for 5 seconds to enter Calibration mode. Once activated, the display will show a “Calibration Mode” message and a target volume (e.g., “8 oz / 0.2 L”). The Pour/Stop button backlight will blink.
2. Place a measuring cup on the dispenser tray in the center.
3.  Press and hold the Pour/Stop button to dispense water into the measuring cup until the specified amount is reached. If the cup overflows or water spills, empty it. And then restart the calibration procedure.
4. To save the calibration, press and hold the Ice Type button for 3 seconds after dispensing water.

How is the kitchen lighting?

Rooms with incandescent or halogen lamps may affect Intelligent Auto fill performance, causing premature stops due to movement around the refrigerator (people, pets, etc.). For better Intelligent Auto fill performance, install the refrigerator in a location that does not face windows or receive excessive external ambient light.
