Leaking from the Filter Area - Side by Side Refrigerator

Possible Solutions

Was the filter correctly installed? 

If the water filter was not installed correctly, it could cause the refrigerator to leak, from the filter area. Please remove the filter and try installing again.

Is the water filter damaged?

  • Remove the filter and inspect it for cracks or damage.
  • Be sure the O-rings are still in place.
  • If the filter is cracked or damaged, replace the filter with a new one.
