Leaking from Filter Area - Freestanding Ice Maker

Possible Solutions

Does the water filter need to be changed?

We recommend replacing the filter every 9 months or when the ice making rate starts to decrease.  The "Replace Filter" light only comes on after nine months or 2000 gallons of water use. Customers with very hard water may need to replace their filters before these counts are reached.

Is the water filter damaged?

  • Remove the filter and inspect it for cracks or damage.
  • Be sure the O-rings are still in place.
  • If the filter is cracked or damaged, replace the filter with a new one.
