Drawers are Difficult to Open - Double Drawer Refrigerator
Possible Solutions
Are the gaskets dirty or sticky?
Clean gaskets and the surface that they touch. Rub a thin coat of paraffin wax on the gaskets following cleaning.
Are refrigerator drawers leveled correctly?
Your refrigerator has four leveling legs. Check the level from left to right and front to back. If drawers seem unsteady or you want the door to close more easily, adjust the drawer's tilt by following the instructions in your "Owner's Manual."
If the refrigerator is not level, it could have the following problems:
- Door not properly closing.
- Door not properly sealing (moisture build-up).
