Is the bowl pretreated?

The finished wood surfaces are coated with a food-grade coating.

Is the wood laminated?

The wood bowl is constructed out of laminations of solid Walnut wood material. The wood laminations are glued together and then machined to the intended profile of the bowl. The bowl is then sanded and coated for protection.

How do I care for my Bowl?

• Maintain the bowl using food-grade mineral oil, walnut oil, or another food-grade wood conditioner. We recommend after every use for best results.

• The bowl will show signs of wear with use. These character markers are unique to each user's experiences, and with proper long-term care, this should not cause performance issues.

How should I maintain my walnut bowl?

Please follow the instructions in the Use & Care Guide and the product insert. The bowl is not dishwasher safe, so please hand wash it and dry it with a soft, clean cloth immediately after washing. For long-term care, we recommend treating the bowl with food-grade mineral oil or walnut oil.
