The wood bowl is 100% true walnut wood, and our supplier is certified by the EUTR (European Union Timber Regulation), which ensures that the due diligence process has been performed.

No, this bowl should not cause any allergy complications due to a walnut or nut allergy.
Is the bowl microwave or dishwasher safe?
No, the bowl is not microwave-safe and should be hand-washed only and then dried immediately.
Can I make whipped egg creations or macaroons with this bowl?
Since bowl maintenance of the bowl requires regular oil application to the interior of the bowl, it is not recommended to use the oiled wood bowl for whipped egg creations. This is not a matter of ruining the bowl, but rather oiled surfaces can make whipping egg whites more difficult.
Can I refrigerate the bowl or warm it up for different recipes?
This is not recommended as it will cause stress to the wood finish and joints.

Yes, you are able to proof dough in your wooden bowl
Will the wood bowl retain odors?
No, the bowl will not retain odors if it is properly maintained and cared for. The wood bowl should be hand washed and dried with a soft, clean cloth immediately after washing. We recommend treating the bowl with a food-grade mineral or walnut oil for long-term care.
