KitchenAid Cookware Warranty Coverage

Cookware Guide.jpg

KitchenAid® cookware has a limited lifetime warranty.  The warranty will cover any manufacturing, material or workmanship defects.

It does not cover normal wear, abuse, accidents.

Not Covered:

  • If a pot is  dropped and dented  or is “boiled dry” and discolors  (will still be usable)
  • If hard-anodized aluminum cookware (non-dishwasher safe) is washed in the dishwasher and turns gray(still usable)
  • If the consumer freely admits improper usage or using in a non-food application.  (with below exceptions)

If the product is being used in a commercial setting, will it void the warranty?

YES – Same as corded appliances,  and this is specified in the Owner's Manual.

Can cast iron be used on a Cooktop?

Cast Iron pans can be used but should not be moved back and forth on the cooktop as it may scratch the cooktop. So they can be used with caution.

To avoid scratches, do not slide cookware or bakeware across the cooktop. Aluminum or copper bottoms and rough finishes on cookware or bakeware could leave scratches or marks on the cooktop.
