The LED light on the device indicates its current status:
Blinking
The LED blinks when the device is charging or connecting. It blinks on for 1 second and off for 2 seconds.
Solid
The LED is solid when the device is fully charged or in use and connected.
Off/Sleep
The LED turns off when the device is not charging or in sleep mode.
If the probe is out of the dock at room temperature (i.e., no change in the temperature reading), the dock goes to sleep mode after 60 minutes. Once the dock is in sleep mode, the LED will turn off, and the dock will terminate the BLE connection.
When you put the probe into the dock and remove it again, the dock starts broadcasting data (BLE enabled). The user can also see the status online/cooking on their phone, in the mobile app.
